About the Role
The Director of Go-To-Market will spearhead the launch of our Marketing Suite in the Ecommerce market. This role is about more than just launching a productâit's about unlocking a new growth channel, redefining our go-to-market approach, and creating meaningful impact for marketers in the eCommerce space.
As the leader of this initiative, you will own the go-to-market strategy, influence the product roadmap, and lead a cross-functional team comprising CSMs, AEs, and Solutions Consultants. Collaborating closely with sales, product, and marketing teams, youâll drive alignment, ensure a successful launch, and develop a repeatable sales motion to acquire stand-alone Marketing customers and expand our market presence.

What Youâll Do
Develop a Marketing GTM Playbook: Craft and execute the initial strategy to position the Marketing Suite as a must-have solution for eCommerce marketers.
Build and Validate ICPs: Identify ideal customer profiles (ICPs) within the marketing audience, working closely with Product and Marketing to refine messaging and positioning.
Drive Adoption Among Marketing Stakeholders: Engage with marketers to deeply understand their needs, challenges, and goals, and articulate how the Marketing Suite solves their most pressing problems.
Partner with the Sales Team: Work directly with AEs and BDRs to tailor outbound strategies targeting marketers and build a repeatable playbook for outreach.
Iterate Quickly: Use data and feedback to continually refine messaging, sales motions, and product positioning, ensuring alignment with the market.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to align on strategies and ensure a seamless go-to-market process.
Establish Thought Leadership: Represent Gorgias at industry events and forums, building credibility and awareness within the marketing community.
Lay the Foundation for Scale: Establish the framework for scaling our marketing GTM motion, including hiring and enabling future team members.
Who You Are
Entrepreneurial and Curious: You excel in ambiguity and are eager to solve challenges with creativity and resourcefulness. Youâre deeply curious about marketersâ needs and how to solve them.
Strategic Builder: Youâve successfully developed GTM strategies for new products or audiences, especially in the SaaS space. Experience targeting Marketing or adjacent stakeholders is a huge plus.
Customer-Centric Problem Solver: You prioritize listening to customers, digging into their pain points, and crafting solutions that resonate.
Experienced Leader: 5+ years in sales, GTM, or similar roles, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives or teams.
Data-Driven: You use metrics and insights to make decisions and iterate on strategies. SQL or analytics experience is a bonus.
Collaborative Influencer: You have a track record of working closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams, effectively aligning goals and driving execution.
Exceptional Communicator: You can clearly articulate complex ideas, both in writing and in person, and you excel in engaging C-level stakeholders.
Results-Oriented: Youâre focused on driving outcomes and achieving ambitious goals, without losing sight of long-term vision.
